Plumbing Project Manager

Take the Lead on Plumbing Projects That Matter

Prairie Sons, Inc., a trusted, family-owned mechanical contractor with over 30 years of experience, is looking for a Plumbing Project Manager to lead residential and commercial projects from start to finish.

?? Located just minutes from Sioux Falls, SD

Pay & Schedule

  • $28–$36 per hour (based on experience)
  • Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Occasional overtime depending on project needs

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of projects and keep things running smoothly from kickoff to completion:

  • Lead and oversee plumbing projects (residential & commercial)
  • Coordinate schedules, crews, and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects stay on time, on budget, and up to code
  • Review blueprints and project specs
  • Manage materials, labor, and job site logistics
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Mentor and support apprentices and journeymen

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience
  • 2+ years in a leadership, foreman, or project management role
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and construction processes
  • Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
